Belanjawan 2022 yang dibentangkan Jumaat minggu lalu mendapat reaksi bercampur baur dalam kalangan pemerhati ekonomi. Dengan saiz Bajet sebesar RM322.1 bilion, kerajaan sudah pasti berharap ia dapat merancakkan ekonomi negara pada masa hadapan untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan positif yang maksimum.

Menteri Kewangan, Tengku Zafrul Aziz membentangkan Bajet 2022 semalam dengan tema Keluarga Malaysia, Makmur Sejahtera. Sebanyak RM332 bilion diperuntukkan oleh Kerajaan Malaysia bagi tahun 2022 dimana RM223.5 bilion akan disalurkan untuk perbelanjaan mengurus manakala RM75.6 bilion diperuntukkan untuk perbelanjaan pembangunan.

"The war has triggered a large, global, and uneven supply shock, disrupting energy flows, pushing up prices, and straining supply chains worldwide," she stated, noting that oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies are currently the most impacted sectors.
