Empat hotel milik Tabung Haji iaitu TH Hotel Kota Kinabalu, TH Hotel Bayan Lepas, TH Hotel Alor Star dan TH Hotel Kuala Terengganu mengalami kerugian berjumlah RM8.7 juta setahun menurut sebuah pembentangan yang dilakukan oleh Tabung Haji bertarikh 19 Februari 2020.

MELAKA, 26 August 2026 — Business executive and education advocate Kimi Lau Pei Ling has been awarded the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (DPSM), earning her the title Datuk, in recognition of her contributions to business, financial education and youth development. Kimi Lau received the state honour at an investiture ceremony at the Balai Istiadat Seri Negeri on Wednesday, held as part of celebrations marking the 77th birthday of Melaka’s Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Mohd Ali Rustam. Kimi Lau, who serves as the founder and head of Klever Stock Sdn Bhd and Kademy Sdn Bhd, has built her career across the financial and education sectors. Through Klever Stock, she has been involved in financial media and corporate communications, with a focus on making capital market news more accessible to the public. On the other hand, Kimi Lau has focused on widening education opportunities for young people, particularly those from B40 households through Kademy. She has connected them with in-house mentors, educational institutions and helped them find potential career pathways. This initiative includes partnerships involving businesses, schools and civic organisations, and aims to provide giving young people greater exposure to skills, knowledge and professional networks. For Kimi Lau, however, the state recognition is less about personal achievement than what comes next. “I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition,” she said. “It is more than a personal achievement. I see it as an encouragement to continue building platforms and initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for others.” She highlighted that education, social development and access to knowledge continue to remain as her key priorities going forward. The honour comes as Kimi Lau continues to pursue initiatives that bridge the corporate and education sectors, with both Klever Stock and Kademy looking to expand their collaboration nationwide. The honour also adds a new chapter to Kimi Lau’s work across business and education, while placing greater emphasis on the social impact of the platforms she has built.

M&A Securities is also serving as the Principal Adviser, Sponsor, Underwriter, and Placement Agent for the flotation exercise. SLGC is slated to list on the ACE Market in October 2026.
